- Wu Boxing — East meets West
Professional boxer and martial artist — 13–3–1 (3 KOs) as a pro, third place at the Shin Kyokushin Asia tournament, and sparring sessions with world champions Mario Barrios, Regis Prograis and Brian Norman Jr. Started martial arts at the age of four and has spent three decades in combat sports since. Out of that experience he built Wu Boxing, his own system for understanding and teaching the sport — Eastern and Western styles mixed, fundamentals first, why a technique works and not just how to repeat it. Tested at every level, from people putting on gloves for the first time to professionals.

What you'll work through
- 01
The ring gives you feedback
The rattan ring has been a close-combat training secret for generations. It provides instant feedback during solo work — no coach needed to know the angle was wrong.
- 02
Built for boxing & Muay Thai
The Kami Battle Ring brought the Emperor Ring's benefits into the sweet science and the art of eight limbs — striking angles, defense, and a tougher bridge for heavy impact.
- 03
The system behind it
Wu Boxing mixes Eastern and Western styles, fundamentals first. The online school carries drills, film study and live sessions — at Apollo you run it live with Xavier.
The Battle Ring program is Xavier “Wukong” Wilson’s signature format at Apollo — built around rattan-ring training and the Kami Battle Ring, the first ring of its kind, crafted in a collaboration between Rattan Ring Training and Wu Boxing specifically for boxing and Muay Thai.
The ring has been a secret of close-combat training for generations: it strengthens the arms and shoulders, toughens the bridge for heavy impact, and tightens your angles for striking and defense. Here you don’t just drill on it — you take the work into live rounds and review them on film, the way the Wu-Gong Boxing school does it: drills, conditioning, film analysis, kata.
