Vlad has dedicated over two decades to mastering the art of boxing, both within the ropes and beyond. With four successful gym ventures under his belt in his hometown of Samara, he felt the call of Thailand. Now, he's embarking on a new journey with Apollo, aiming to elevate it to the pinnacle of boxing facilities in Phuket. Drawing upon his wealth of experience, his mission is to foster growth and share the intricacies of boxing with enthusiasts, from aspiring beginners to seasoned professionals.

  • Successfully coached over a hundred boxers, with many reaching national and international levels.
  • Founded four cutting-edge gyms, two of which were established in Thailand, significantly influencing the local boxing scene.
  • Developed a unique training methodology that combines traditional boxing techniques with modern training science, which has been adopted by various other training facilities.

The plan

What you'll work through

  1. 01

    Days 1–2 · Stance & guard

Find your stance, balance and guard. Learn to move without crossing your feet.

  2. 02

    Days 3–4 · The jab & footwork

The most important punch in boxing, plus the footwork to land it and leave.

  3. 03

    Day 5 · Combinations & defence

Stitch punches together and add slips, rolls and the basics of not getting hit.

  4. 04

    Days 6–7 · Pads & a filmed check

Put it together on the pads, then a recorded review so you leave knowing your next step.

A structured first week of Western boxing: every session has a job, from stance and guard to the jab, the cross and basic head movement. No experience needed — beginners and returners welcome.
